Blazing Trails in Consumer Engagement: Salesforce Connections 2019

Day one: Our team felt the infectious energy of this year's Salesforce Connections before we even stepped off the plane. When we arrived at McCormick Place, we were greeted with the familiar faces of many fellow trailblazers, a fun DJ set, and green carpet that looked like grass but felt like a cloud. Salesforce definitely knows how to put together an amazing conference!

Most of the day was spent exploring the Customer Success Expo, attending super sessions, and showcasing our review management solution to attendees who stopped by our booth.  The Welcome Reception in the evening was a great time to connect with various brands and discuss the innovative ways they are engaging with their consumers and creating a 360º view of their customers. After the reception, we attended a few parties at the VU Rooftop Bar and enjoyed the views of Chicago while networking before grabbing a deep dish pizza with new friends.

On Day 2, when the Customer Success Expo closed, our happy hour began! We served tacos and signature cocktails, along with wine and local beers. As our customers, prospects, and partners began arriving to the bar, our music duo set up and played set after set of hit songs, such as Hey There Delilah, which was a hit from the guitarist, Kevin's, old band the Plain White T's. Our party continued throughout the evening and as our space began filling up, we engaged in many great conversations and enjoyed the networking taking place around us.

After our party came to an end, we walked across the street to Wintrust Arena for The Party at Connections where Gwen Seftani was performing. Before heading into the main stage area, we made sure to stop and get a few pictures with Codey and Einstein. Gwen went on around 9:30pm, just as we made our way to the front of the stage. The excitement coming from the crowd was unreal and her performance really made for a good night!

Day 3: On the third day, we attended a partner breakfast at the Hyatt Regency and then spent the rest of the day at the Customer Success Expo talking to attendees at our booth about why managing reviews inside Salesforce is so important. It was wonderful to hear that so many Salesforce customers have been needing a native review management solution. Caring about online reviews is key in having a successful brand reputation. It was great to see that Salesforce understands that and is striving to make it top of mind.
